I got around it on the other computers in the house by replacing the unpatched folders on the other computers with my patched folder from mine, but the PS4 won't let me replace any part of its filesystem so that's a no go. The drive selected for installation must have at least 40 GB of free space available. * The drive containing the My Documents folder must have at least 2 GB of free space available.
